Yes we're back and celebrating our 15th birthday.
GWOOL was first launched on Geocities.com back in 1995 when we decided to make a Greek Celebrity site, just like the ones with foreign celebrities. Starting with a hand held scanner the first model we added was Marina Tsidikidou. Then many more followed, internet changed but we're still here.
So, taking this opportunity we're very proud to introduce our latest GWOOL Model, Emily. We hope you like her, as we have much more of her that we'll release in a short time.

Hello everyone.
Most of you have already noticed that many videos and photographs from almost every gallery in GWOOL.com is missing a large amount of files (almost 1.000).
We are deleting several file after the DMCA notice we received from Playboy Greece.
The process will be completed by Monday March 15th.
We know that since they got their own site it's not nice to see Playboy content elsewhere. Especially on a Greek website.
It's a bad thing this happens on our 15th birthday.

So far this is the 3rd threat from models. All of them have proved their identity and thus we have removed their pictures.

Please excuse our kind of late updates, but it's summer in Greece and we take as more time of as possible. During August our update schedule will come back to normal.
Yesterday we managed to upload more pictures of Ms Diana Igropoulou. Her gallery is growing fast and we're looking forward to her next shoot.
For those who ask us to publish photoshoots from magazines that are still in circulation; we can not do that. We only publish shoots after the circulation of an issue has stopped. For example the shoot of a managine (issue May 09) will be published on June or July of 2009!

As of yesterday we have completed the full serie of Miss Hellas/Star Hellas videos in the downloads area of the site. This means that a total of 8 new videos have been uploaded there.
We're also pleased to introduced the gallery of the super hot Diana Igropoulou.
Diana took part in the Miss Hellas/Star Hellas competition where due to the judges incompetence she lost the deserved first place.

Hello everyone,
On Monday June 15th the Miss Hellas/Star Hellas/Miss Young Beauty Pegeant was held in Athens.
Despite of the new "feel" of the contest the judges again choose, in our opinion, a wrong winner leaving the best girl with a runner-up position. This happens when the judges have not anything to do with the world of beauty, fashion and elegance. The winner was Viviana Cambanile-Zagorianakou - a beautiful girl indeed - but considerably prettier was Diana Igropoulou.
Diana will be our next update in the Greek Celebrities ths week.
But as for updates.
A new category in the downloads section is now active, hosting the videos of the Miss Hellas/Star Hellas/Miss Young 2009 contest. We have uploaded the coronation ceremony so far but the videos of the contestants are coming up.

Hello everyone.
We have an update for you. Not in content but in features.
During the weekend we managed to re-script the whole download area.
The MKV Videos are has been withdrawn and the MKV videos are now in their respective areas.
Also the video categories are now date shorted. This means that the latest video will be the last on each page, making finding the news easier.
On top of that all videos now have the new duration tag, telling you how long each video is.
Two categories are missing (TV Shows and Various Videos) but as of Tuesday everything is going to be in order.
Also minor problems that occured with Internet Explorer are now solved and GWOOL is cross browser now. MSIE 8, Safari and Chrome are now properly supported.

On Sunday we did our regular update but we just found some time to write it on the news.

Today we have some bad news for you.
After the confirmation of the identity of Ms Yianna Hadjimichali, we have permanently removed her gallery from GWOOL. A friend of the site has informed us that he has posted the full gallery on RapidShare and we shall post the URL in the next week or so.
Also the gallery of Mrs Noni Dounia will be removed on Tuesday April the 14th after a request from Mrs Dounia. So download the gallery ASAP.

Yesterday GWOOL received an email from Ms Yianna Hadjimichali, requesting that we remove her gallery from our site.
We have asked politely to proove the originality of the request. Instead of a simple polite response with a webcam picture of her, we received threats of law suits etc.
This has happened before. Back in 2003... We are still online.
But just in case, in a good faith move we have temporarily disabled all access to her gallery.
We still await for a good faith move on her side.

These days we have been working on improving our video quality and as we have told you before we're ready to fully adopt the H.264 video format. You may sometimes find videos with MKV, DiVX or MOV extentions. All these videos support H.264 format and they are mostly of high quality, especially if captured with a HD device from an HD source.
Well today we added two videos, both available in MKV/H.264 format:

It is important to state somethings before we continue to today's update.
We have received several emails from GWOOL.com fans asking for specific updates and more often updates. This is a nice thing to do, but some of you are sending emails swearing and insulting all persons behind GWOOL.com. GWOOL is not our primary job and what we do we do it because we want it to and like it. Some may think that we're getting rich by GWOOL but our advertisements merely cover the hosting expenses. So, have patience for the uploads. We always upload over 10-15 pictures plus a video or two.
As for uploads now!

Last night we all watched the Miss Hellas/Star Hellas Beauty Contest 2008.
Even though the results were a bit disappointing for our taste, this year the overall quality level was raised and all girls (well most of them anyhow) were gorgeous.

This is a news update on the Eurovision 2008 Song Contest.
The ex-Soviet Republics made their choice again and another country from that region won the contest. This year`s winner is Russia.
Greece with Kalomira`s "Secret Combination" came up third. This a very good result if you image that all ex-Soviet countries gave 12 points to Russia.
Well done Kalomira.

Hello everyone!
Last night the Greek song `Secret Combination` performed by Kalomira Saranti made it to the finals of the Eurovision 2008 Contest which takes place in Belgrade, Serbia.
Ms Saranti performed very nicely and the spot in the final that will be held on Saturday May 24th.

Today our update is H-O-T!
And by hot we mean volcano. The model top rated by you in our recent post, Julia Alexandratou, finally did a nude photo shoot.
This once of the best shoots of her ever and we're proud to announce that all 18 photos of the shoot are now online in Julia`s gallery!

Bigger, clearer and always GWOOL.
As of today GWOOL™ is starting to upload bigger (+17%) and clearer images of both Greek Celebrities and GWOOL Models.
Thanks to out new scanners we are able to provide better-than-ever results.

Today we have a nice sexy video for you.
The latest song from the TV Show OLA8 featuring Ms Olga Farmaki is now available in the TV Shows section in the downloads area of GWOOL.
There you might also notice the new section about Eurovision 2008 Song Contest. There we have added the Live appearance of Ms Kalomira Saranti in the Greek Final and also the two official videos!
Also from April 1rst we will increase the size of every image we will add after that date. A high precision scanner is on the way and the quality and size of the pictures will be totally different.

Hello friends,
Welcome to GWOOL.com v2.
A lot of changes have happened during this weekend. Most of them are not visible to you, but the best of all is the new navigation system of the galleries.
Forget clicking on an image and then click back to the list again and reload it etc. Now all images open in the same window but without losing the existing gallery. You can even navigate in the gallery using the arrow keys or the next and previous option on the navigator. just hover over the left or right portion of the images to see how it works. If you want to leave the navigator simple press ESC, click out of the picture or click the close button on the navigator!
By the way, be sure to check the new features while viewing the brand new gallery of the Playmate of the Year 2007, Natalie Thanou found in the greek celebrities section!

Hello everyone.
During the last few days we were busy making some more improvements to the site. First of all we have changed the downloads area; which is now split into categories. Playboy videos, interviews and music video clips. This was done because the items available for download were too many and people could get confused when searching for something.
Also we have remastered the Playboy© videos of Yianna Hadjimaichali, Juliet Emenou and Gianna Poliakou. The new additions for this week are the videos of Ms Bianca Rassou and Eleni Petridou.
All new and remastered videos are marked with a golden star in the right up side of the thumbnail.
More videos are currently in the remastering process and will be added very soon.

Operational updates at GWOOL.com
As you may have noticed we have somewhat updated most operations of GWOOL.
First of all GWOOL is now fully database driven. This means that every single word and picture is stored on a database. The third improvement is that we have installed a hotlink protection system that prevents other websites linking our pictures and presenting them on their pages.
And now the cool upgrades. All external links (mostly in the links page) now have a feature that enables you to preview the site you are hovering your mouse over! Also in the models' pages we have installed a feature that allows you to see multiple versions of the images. This way the images get a lot smaller in size but allows you a full view of the image instead of the cropped-to-fit version of the thumbnail.
More cool features are to come along with some very cool updates... Stay tuned

Hello everyone!
Today we have a very special video for you.
During the voting procedure in the Eurovision show that took place in Athens, Greece, on May 20th 2006, Ms Helena Paparizou performed live. ERT (Greek National TV) instead of staying live for the show, served us a very nice commercial break and thus we didn't enjoy Helena's performance. Thank God GWOOL is here to save the situation. A French friend of GWOOL sent us the video broadcasted by ORF; the national broadcaster of Austria. The video is at super quality, 16:9 aspect with 44.1Khz Stereo Sound. We hope you enjoy the show!  It is really spectacular what emails we receive from guys mostly from our contact form.
Most of those emails are really gross and we delete them at once.
Let us make something clear. The CONTACT button on the toolbar sends an email to the website owners and is used to say your opinion or make requests and stuff like that. IT IS NOT USED TO CONTACT THE MODELS. We have made this clear numerous times.
We really like to get your opinions and we do try to reply to all emails. But don't write idiotic stuff like one user that send us an emal from the page of Ms Laura Mouriki and wrote "I want to f**k you and c*m in your mouth". Ok man, go find her and tell her that... Or tell it to any girl. You'll end up in IR room to a nearby hospital…

Hello all.
We just wanted to let you know of a small re-design in the Links page. We have removed some sites that either stopped working or did not continue to have quality stuff.
We have also added a sub-category named "Free Galleries". This section has quality galleries that renew every day or even every 15 minutes. Check them out. They really rock.

Hello everyone!
Everything here is going well enough.
Our system is stable again and we did some more scanning.
The gallery of Ms Paullina Sadalovaki is updated with sixteen new pictures. You can see them in the greek celebrities section.
We also want to start the "ELENI MENEGAKI CAMPAIGN". Everyone that has videos or images of her please send them in. Those selected ones that have FTP access please create a separate dir in your upload folder!

Hi all,
We're taking the damn computer to DELL service.
Everything was almost destroyed. Thank God we had the sites' back up. Unfortunatelly we've lost almost all emails containing attachements. So please, those of you that sent us attachments before contact us and we'll give you an FTP account to upload the files in ZIP or RAR format.

Hello everyone.
We have some good and some bad news.
Unfortunately our news database failed during upload so all previous updates were lost.
On the other hand we have a great update that many of you looked forward to. The gallery of Ms Helena Paparizou is now live! You can find her in the greek celebrities section. You may also want to download her video clip of "My Number 1". It's the original performance in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005. It can be found in the downloads section.
